Seepage calculation is significant to the selection of the dam at the design stage,the size of the design,and the safe operation after completion.In this paper,based on the previous research results,the seepage calculation is discussed.Firstly,the seepage analysis method is described,which mainly includes analytic method,experimental analysis method and numerical simulation method.In the numerical solution,the processing of free surface and escape surface is the key problem of solving.The processing method of free surface is relatively mature,including residual flow method,unit conduction matrix adjustment method,initial flow method,virtual element method and cut-off negative pressure method.The method of dealing with the escape surface includes the seepage free surface extension line method,single node processing method,batch node processing method and so on.This paper discusses a variety of methods of dealing with the surface,and they were evaluated.After a comprehensive comparison,affirmed the advantages of batch node processing.Then,the article mainly summarizes the batch node processing method,from the perspective of variational principle,elaborated some laws of the escape,and the existing batch node processing method is validated and the effectiveness of each method is evaluated.Based on the discussion of the existing batch escape points,this paper presents an improved approach to the escape surface,That is,both the head test H method and the flow test Q method are applied.According to the proposed method,apply common finite element software ANSYS APDL language to program.In the program free surface,escape surface,the overall program framework,convergence criteria and other issues have been solved and program code.At the end of this paper,the method proposed in this paper is verified by a program that has been written.The validity of the proposed method is verified by two-dimensional and three-dimensional simulation.The validity of the proposed method and the effectiveness of solving multiple escape points are verified in the three-dimensional simulation.The applicability of the proposed method to the 3D model is verified in the three-dimensional simulation.
