The geometry features of parts directly affect the quality of the product,which is an important factor to determine market share and company benefits.Complex parts are machined by multiple process system with the error and deviation transmits between processes,which resembles to assembly of products and differs in the transmission way and elements largely.The final quality of parts is influenced by multiple process deviation and manufacturing error.A number of coupling relationship between different sources of deviation is the problem to express the complex multistep parts error transfer process.The approach of expressing the final state of a complex part is a key factor to realize the high precision,high efficiency,and high reliability of manufacturing industry.Lots of research is focused on the single source of error or specific assumptions in the area of complex multistep parts deviation process.The coupling relationship between different manufacturing error and process deviation is devoted a small amount of research by scholars domestic and abroad.In this paper,several typical processes of complex parts processing is exampled to construct a new model of complex multistep parts deviation process on the basis of the state space model.The processing route of parts is analyzed based on the dimension chain and characteristics of the tolerance requirements.The optimized process route is obtained through the route optimization.Based on the theory Tolerance design model-T-Map,the manufacturing error model-M-Map is obtained through the modeling of each step complex multistep parts manufacturing error.The model is used to express the formation of manufacturing error and the accumulation of relationship between different steps.The following several aspects of research is done in the paper:(1)Summarize the research status of tolerance modeling and analyzing,making a detailed study of error transfer model.(2)Analyze the process plan of parts and obtain the error accumulation route Build constraint relation model based on the extracting data.(3)Define the part,fixture and machine tool coordinate system.Construct the process error multi-dimensional matrix.Realize the transformation of process deviation through establishing the relationship between part and characteristics coordinate system based on the homogeneous transformation matrix.(4)Construct the manufacturing error model-M-Map by the combination of T-Map and state space model.(5)Verify the feasibility of the modeling method proposed in this paper through a specific part’s processing.
