In recent years, with the rapid economic growth and the improvement of people's living standards, the car has entered the ordinary people's daily lives,to bring convenience to people and the rapid increase in the number of traffic accidents. The results show that the number of accidents in curved sections, especially in the continuous curve,is much larger than that in straight sections, and the severity of malignant accidents is also more obvious.Continuous curve is a common linear of low grade highway in mountainous area.Different types of vehicles in the continuous curve will have many obvious differences in the vehicle trajectory. However,in our country the current research of low grade highway continuous curve trajectory is less. Therefore,In this paper, the changing law of vehicle track is studied.First of all,in this paper, the method of field survey is used to analyze how to collect the required track and the traffic parameters in the process of continuous curve. It can effectively avoid the influence of human factors on the vehicle trajectory.Secondly, determine the factors and design the experimental program. The data of the vehicle speed, vehicle type, driving direction and the distribution of the vehicle track points are collected and analyzed about the mountain area fourth grade highway. At the same time, the classification and calibration of the vehicle type, the driving direction and the continuous curve are carried out.Thirdly,by using the visual analysis method, this paper studies the variation of the track of the small car, medium sized vehicle and large vehicle under different influence factors, and the proportion of crossing the middle of the road.Correlation analysis method was used to study the correlation degree between different types of vehicle track and road centerline. The results show that:(1)The ratio of the vehicle traveling path across the middle of the road is different and the ratio of each vehicle in the upward direction is greater than the downward direction.(2)The correlation between the distribution of the traveling track point and the road centerline is obvious. The correlation degree of each vehicle model in the downward direction is greater than that in the upward direction.(3)The conflict areas of different kinds of vehicles in the upward and downward direction are different. With the medium-sized car in the upward direction, the conflict area of small car in the downward direction is largest. With the small car in the upward direction, the conflict area of small car in the downward direction is largest. With the large vehicle in the upward direction, the conflict area of small car in the downward direction is largest. Finally, based on the experimental data and the characteristics of the vehicle track, the fitting relationship model of the vehicle track points and the continuous curved road center line is established.
