As the most common power mechanical equipment,diesel engine's working state directly affects the safety of the mechanical equipment.Once any fault occurs in diesel engine,it will cause great economic loss.Thus real-time and online monitoring diesel engine has a very far-reaching significance.With the development of three-dimensional visualization technology,it provides a new channel for online monitoring of diesel engine.Utilizing three-dimensional visualization techniques for monitoring diesel engine parameters has a great influence for diesel engine fault diagnosis,data analysis and maintenance.This paper mainly studied the three-dimensional visualization technology and system for online monitoring of diesel engine,and systematically studied the three-dimensional visualization of diesel engine,and determined the three-dimensional visualization monitoring scheme of diesel engine.At the same time,the key state parameters of the diesel engine were monitored and analyzed,and the network transmission mode of optical fiber test data was analyzed.Finally,the online monitoring software system was developed based on the monitoring data and the three-dimensional visualization model.The specific contents of this paper were as follows:Firstly,we introduced the basic principle of diesel engine online monitoring.Then we presented the research status of online monitoring and three-dimensional visualization technology.Secondly,the technical principles and realization process of three-dimensional visualization were introduced,and the three-dimensional visualization scheme of diesel engine was put forward.In particular,some parts of diesel engine were modeling and model assembly by Proe software,and then utilized 3ds max software for data format conversion and model rendering.Finally the three-dimensional model of loading was achieved based on Java 3D graphics engine JPCT.Thirdly,we monitored and analyzed diesel engine key parameters like temperature and vibration.We presented the latest optical fiber testing technologies and designed testing system to measure temperature parameter and vibration parameter.Finally,we explored to develop a software system to monitor diesel engine state parameters based on three-dimensional visualization technology.The current software system adopted the J2EE architecture based on the combination of Java and MySQL,which can be divided into two sections of MySQL database and Java client.Then we used JPCT technique to achieve three-dimensional visualization on PC client.Considered that the advantage of mobile terminal,we adopted android technology to develop a app to acquired monitoring information of diesel engine.JPCT-AE and GIS techniques,as the key technologies,are employed in this application in order to achieve three-dimensional visualization and GIS positioning on mobile terminal.We attained the three-dimensional management of diesel engine by combining PC client and mobile terminal.In the end,our work is summarized.We pointed out current problems in our work and proposed improvement in the future work.
