Green energy has been the subject of continuous development in science and technology.Hydropower,wind power,photovoltaic power generation,geothermal power generation and other new energy have gradually boared the stage of the world.Thermoelectric power generation has come into our sight as a new green energy technology.The basic theory of thermoelectric power generation is based on the Seebeck effect of the semiconductor material,which is limited by the thermoelectricity parameter ZT(Thermoelectric figure of merit)of the thermoelectric properties of the semiconductor material,the efficiency can not be more than 10%.For the thermoelectric power generation device,a reasonable method of heat dissipation structure can partly improve the efficiency of the device,the appropriate power management can improve the practicality of thermal power generation.In this paper,a practical small-scale thermoelectric power generation device is designed based on the thermoelectric generator TES112703,and the heat dissipation structure of the thermoelectric power generation device is simulated and optimized.At the same time,the power generation efficiency and output power of the power generation device are tested.The research of this paper is as follows:First of all,in the design of heat dissipation structure,through Solidworks,a variety of power generation device cooling structures and sizes are modeled.Import to ANSYS,the cooling structures of thermoelectric power generation device are simulated and get the optimization design.Considering the device's structure optimization,the optimal size of the cooling structures is determined.Secondly,in the power management module,according to the characteristics of thermoelectric power generation,this paper chooses LTC3108 chip to manage the power of power generation device.Through the design of mechanical structure and the rational layout of the power management PCB,the power management module and mechanical structure can be integrated together to form a small-scale practical power generation device.Then,in the design of mechanical structure,use poly(ether-ether-ketone,PEEK)plastic to wrap around the thermoelectric power generator as its fixed protection,use overclocking three A1 thermal grease for system bonding,finally,use screws to fix the whole device.So that,the device can ensure the overall stability on condition of the optimal temperature difference.The test results of the power generation device show: the performance of the heat dissipation structure designed in this paper is very close to the simulation results.The power management module of device has the functions of regulated output and energy storage,the output power can supply energy for some small equipment.The reliability test shows: the power generation device has good stability of mechanical structure and temperature.
