With the rapid development of global economy,all sorts of resource consumption increase gradually.How to solve the contradiction between energy shortage and ecological environment has become a problem.The exploitation and utilization of new energy become the best choice for the challenge.Among the numerous new energy,solar energy and wind energy resources are the most important energy types because of their own characteristics.Nevertheless they all have the disadvantages of randomness and discontinuity when used independently,which may cause power supply instability.Meanwhile,because there exist a strong complementarity between the wind and solar energy,and the energy storage and inverter used for both the two kinds of energy are general to a great extent,the wind solar hybrid power generation system can make up the above disadvantages.According to the domestic and overseas status of researches on the installed capacity and cost of the wind solar hybrid power generation system,the main technical problems about system control strategy are studied emphatically in this paper.The main work is divided into the following parts.1.The background and significance of the subject are introduced.The primary technology,research status and development tendency of wind solar hybrid power system control strategy are described.2.The basic structure of wind solar hybrid power system is analyzed.Aimed at the main system structural parts,i.e.,wind turbine,generator,energy storage device,converter and controller,the corresponding core problems such as working principle,mathematical model and electrical characteristics are researched.3.As the key technology of wind solar hybrid power system,maximum power point tracking(MPPT)control is studied mainly.The detailed MPPT mechanism is analyzed.The overview and comparison of the general MPPT methods are given.In particular,considering the partial shade phenomena and problem,the MPPT fuzzy control algorithm based on particle swarm optimization(PSO)is proposed.The simulation verifications for the MPPT control strategies of wind and solar power generation systems are carried out respectively.4.The energy control idea of wind solar hybrid power system is discussed.The complete main circuit topology of wind solar hybrid power system is constructed.The system model in MATLAB/Simulink is set up,by which the control strategy is simulated and verified.
