Testing Instrument Of Aerobat SPD Based On C8051F380 MCU

Aerobat surge protection device plays a very important role in aerobat lightning indirect effect protection.Transient voltage suppression elements which contain metal oxide varistor,transient voltage suppressor and gas discharge tube are key component of aerobat surge protection device,can absorb surge power.However,aerobat surge protection device may lose efficacy accidentally which leads to irreversible device injure.So it is necessary to design a kind of aerobat surge protection device tester to test the voltage clamping capacity of the surge protection device.The study of this article is in this context to start.This paper presents system functions and technical specifications of aerobat surge protection device after describing working principle and performance parameters of transient voltage suppression elements.Eventually,this paper introduce the overall design,detailed hardware design and software design when the relevant theory and technology of the tester were studied.Hardware design uses C8051F380 singlechip as its MCU which completes the data processing,data storage and other functions.In addition,this paper also designed a number of peripheral auxiliary circuit that contain high voltage regulation circuit,high voltage switch array circuit,analog signal sampling circuit,programmable smart LCD,power supply circuit and so on.Software design uses modular programming method,making the program structure is clear,maintained and expanded conveniently and reduce the possibility of error.The software design mainly includes the initialization,the AD sampling and the curve fitting algorithm,and gives each modules' program.After testing,this prototype can work properly,meet the design requirements,detect the clamping voltage capability of the aerobat surge protection device.
