The vibration and noise generated by the automotive wiper system affect the driving comfort and safety,As people improving requirement about automotive quality,the vibration and noise of the wipers are attracting more and more people's attention.The friction between the wiper and the windshield has non-linear characteristic,making the wiper's vibration and noise problems very complex.In this paper,a typical single motor driven bone wiper as the object of study,analysis of its vibration and noise characteristics and influencing factors.In order to study the vibration and noise characteristics of the wiper,An experiment about wiper noise and vibration was carried out under different wetness and speed condition include wet,semi-dry and dry with high speed and low speed.It is found that the reversal noise is the most obvious in the whole process.The problem of vibration and noise in the process of reversing at the top is more serious than that of the bottom.The vibration and noise is affected by the degree of windshield glass wetness and wiping speed,analysis the character of the reversal vibration and noise at the top.In order to study the source of noise in the vehicle,coherence analysis has carried out among the installation position,the windshield,the wipe arm and blade and the noise inside the car,and understand the relationship between the main peak and vibration.The modal parameters are obtained by the modal test of the wiper motor and the connecting rod mechanism.The geometric model is established by the three-dimensional software and the modal analysis of the motor linkage mechanism is carried out by ANSYS Workbench.By adjusting the finite element model,The results of the modal analysis of the connecting rod are consistent with the experimental modal results.In addition,the modal simulation are made on the crank,the head of the wipe arm,the small head of the wipe arm.Using ADAMS virtual prototype to establish a multi rigid body dynamic model,including the motor and reducer assembly,four linkage mechanism,the main a wiper arm wiper blade assembly,front windshield,the rigid and flexible coupling multi-body dynamics model of the wiper was obtained by flexibleizing the connecting rod and the main wiper arm flexible,using wiper rigid flexible coupling system model to analyze the effects of pressure and the wiping speed to wiper vibration. In this paper,combined experimental with simulation to analysis the characteristic of the vibration and noise,understand the influence of the wiping speed and the wetness of the windshield on the vibration and noise,get the coherent relationship of vibration and the major noise,which has a certain guiding significance for reducing vibration and noise wiper system.
