The train positioning unit is an important guarantee for the efficient and safe operation of the train.Accurate location information of the train can provide a direct basis for the safety distance,and the positioning accuracy is very important for determining the safety protection distance of the train.Therefore,it is very important to evaluate the positioning accuracy of the train positioning unit based on GNSS in the railway application scenarios,which is very important for the application of the train positioning unit in the train control system.This paper evaluates the accuracy of the train positioning unit by using the test method of the train positioning unit for the railway application scene.It can greatly promote the application of the train positioning unit based on GNSS in railway transportation.Firstly,this paper introduces the research status of accuracy test method of train positioning based on GNSS at home and abroad.Based on the summary of the research on the accuracy test method of the train positioning unit,the paper proposes accuracy test method of train positioning unit based on GNSS.For railway application scenarios,aiming at the requirement of testing accuracy of train positioning unit based on GNSS,an accuracy evaluation method for railway locomotive positioning accuracy based on digital track map and error ellipse is put forward.Secondly,in order to design the accuracy test method of train positioning unit in railway application scene,this paper designs the train positioning unit accuracy test platform for railway application scene,at the same time,designs the railway test scene for train positioning unit accuracy test.In order to evaluate the positioning accuracy of the GNSS-based train positioning unit,a map-based location accuracy evaluation method and error ellipse accuracy evaluation method are used.Finally,according to the accuracy test method of the train positioning unit proposed in this paper,the paper builds the GNSS-based train positioning unit accuracy test verification platform,and carries on the accuracy test verification under the Qinghai-Tibet railway operating scene.The field test results show that the accuracy of GNSS-based train positioning unit can provide real-time and reliable location data and positioning accuracy under railway application scenarios,which provides a direct basis for train safety.
