| With the growing energy crisis,people are exploring more efficient method of using energy.The thermoelectric technology based on the seebeck effect,with its features and advantages,has been applied in aerospace,automotive and other fields.Ship is the carrier of carriage of goods by ocean,with a huge daily energy consumption.Thermoelectirc generation units can transfer ship waste heat into electricity,which will save a lot of energy.The research on the application of thermoelectric on ship is currently in the primary stage,mainly including the design of the power and economy research.To explore the influence factors of thermoelectirc generation device output,this paper studied under the condition of laboratory,mainly including the following aspects,firstly,designed and set up a test bench for the simulation of ship exhaust pipe,part of the ship exhaust pipe temperature field was simulated,formed the experimental system of thermoelectric generation;Acquisiting images by numerical simulation and experiment,the temperature field distribution can be gotten,then according to the distribution of temperature field,the arrangement of the power generation is finished;Temperature acquisition device and the data acquisition model is used to get the data of temperature and voltage.Then,the experiment has been carried on to find out the influence factors of thermoelectric effect,including hot surface and electricity heat conduction,the influence of temperature gradient and series-parallel effect on the power output performance of thermoelectric and the output performance of the two levels of thermoelectric generation device.Finally,part of the ship exhaust pipe area was selected to study its output performance and economy.The experiment result shows that,the thermal conductivity between hot surface and the power generation can be improved by silicone grease.The ability of improvement is obvious and is helpful to heat transfer and improve the output of the performance of temperature difference power generation device.Temperature gradient has effect on the output voltage and power of temperature difference power generation device.The greater the temperature gradient output performance is poor.The choice of series or parallel has influence on the performance of the temperature difference power generation device’s output.The way of putting series power to the demand of voltage then with other power modules in parallel connection can improve the output power.Two stages of thermoelectric generator output power is better than that of single stage,about 1.5 times that of the single stage.Thermoelectric generator is efficiency and has short cost recovery period. |
