As a new concept launch weapon,electromagnetic rail gun is getting more and more attention in the world.Pulsed power supply is an important power system of rail guns,and its output characteristics would affect the emission performance of rail guns directly.High muzzle velocity with high accuracy is one of the targets among pulsed electromagnetic weapons.Pulsed power supply with capacitor energy storage is used widespread in electromagnetic launch systems nowadays.Research on the effects of power supply parameters with little error on the accuracy of muzzle velocity and the efficiency of launch system is significant.Firstly,the effect of each parameters on the outputs of pulsed power supply with circuit simulations is analyzed,including the initial charging voltage,capacitance,inductance and resistance values.Through theoretical calculation,the current error formula is derived.Next,stress distribution of armature and projectile on rails is analyzed,circuit model of rail gun launch system is established,the effect of power supply parameters on the value of muzzle velocity and the difference between synchronous and timing trigger are studied,and the effect of power supply parameters with little error on the accuracy of muzzle velocity is researched.Then,the effect of power supply parameters on the efficiency of launch system is analyzed.With simulation and calculation,changes of the efficiency with different parameters are studied.Finally,aiming at a specified launch accuracy,the accuracy index of each parameters in pulsed power supply is disassembled and optimized.
