With the development of mechanical products towards light weight and high speed,the inertia effect is becoming more and more obvious.Vibration and noise will be increased by the increase of inertia.Moreover,the mechanical performance in the process of operation will be declined.In order to improve the performance of machinery and meet the demand of high speed and precision,it is needed to search for a new method to reduce or eliminate the adverse results caused by the inertia.In this paper,active balancing reducer was studied from the view of type synthesis,kinematics,dynamics,control method and experiment.The contents are as follows:1.Type synthesis of active balancing reducer was carried out,and the selection rules of the active reducer were determined.Then the connecting relation between the gear trains was studied,and a kind of adjacency matrix of gear connection was proposed to describe the combination type of different gear trains.2.Kinematic and dynamic model of active balancing reducer was established,and the balancing principle and design procedure were studied from the point of dynamic performance and vibration response.The active balancing reducers were designed for the four-bar linkage and six-bar linkage respectively by the optimization method.3.Electro-mechanical coupling model of active balancing reducer was established.The fuzzy adaptive PID control system of active balancing reducer was designed and simulated.4.Experiments of the active balancing reducer system based on the four-bar mechanism were studied.The experimental schemes were designed.Tests under different speed were carried out and the vibration response and dynamic indexes were obtained.The results verified the dynamic and flexible adjustment function of the active balancing reducer.In this paper,the active balancing reducer system was studied from the aspects of theory,simulation and experiment.And the research results provided a theoretical and practical basis for the extension of the active balancing reducer and the transformation of the related fields.
