With the development of automobile industry,suspension performance has been paid more and more attention.Suspension performance analysis commonly use modeling and simulation of two methods,simulation need dynamic simulation software for virtual prototyping modeling,and make the suspension system performance analysis and optimization.The test can be divided into car road test and indoor pavement simulation test.The test of road surface is the closest to the real conditions,the test conditions are simple,but the test repeatability is poor,long cycle.Indoor pavement simulation test can reproduce the vehicle running on the road in the test room,shorten the development cycle,reduce development costs,but the road excitation is single.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study a kind of indoor pavement simulation test system which can better reproduce the actual road operating conditions and to test the performance of the suspension system.The structure and working principle of a drum pavement simulation test system is introduced first in this paper.The test system is transformed into an indoor pavement simulation experiment by arranging bumps on the surface of the drum to simulate the road excitation.In order to make the drum test system can accurately reproduce the actual road,this paper has carried on the research of the drum bump,put forward the principle and method of the convex block contour design,using MATLAB to carry on the sine distortion pavement,the speed control pavement and rectangular bump pavement drum convex design and simulation.A variety of virtual drum road and the dynamic model of the drum-pavement simulation test system is established in the ADAMS.And the joint dynamic simulation is carried out with the suspension system.A road test system of the real vehicle is built to test the sine distortion pavement,speed control pavement and rectangular bump pavement,and the results of simulation and road test are compared and analyzed to verify the correctness of the block contour design and the feasibility of the drum test system.Finally,the suspension performance test of symmetrical rectangular bumps and staggered rectangular bumps are carried out,and the vibration test data of the wheels and car body are obtained.The drum pavement test and actual vehicle test results are compared and analyzed to verify the drum pavement simulation test system to reproduce the real road of the rationality and effectiveness,and base on a variety of drum pavement to carry on the performance analysis of suspension.The test of the actual vehicle and the drum road shows that the drum test is consistent with the actual road test,and the road surface can be reconstructed by changing the shape or arrangement of the drum bump;the vehicle or suspension can use this test system for performance testing and analysis.
