In recent years,the research on public transport scheduling has been a hotspot in the research of urban public transit industry.As the core of bus dispatching,the bus vehicle scheduling is the primary determiner of the quality of urban public transport scheduling and plays a decisive role in improving bus efficiency and reducing the costs of transportation,it has been the guidance for bus lines operating process.The pros and cons of bus vehicle plan affect not only the passengers’ travel,but also the operation cost of public transport enterprises.Therefore,the research on the model of public transportation planning should be in line with the actual operation of urban public transport.In this paper,the model of public transport planning has been researched.At first,in order to carry out the objective of the win-win interests between passengers and enterprises,a model of the bus timetable which can reflect the actual operation situation has been established by considering the number of remaining,the bus full rate and passenger riding rate and other factors;Because the weights for interests of passengers and enterprises in the model may be different in different time interval,the statistic and analysis method of the passengers’ data has been given to produce time invtevals in this paper;And the dynamic programming algorithm for solving the model is presented.And secondly,the abnormal problems appeared in the course of the actual operation has been analyzed,the adjustment strategies and processes under abnonnal situation of bus scheduling has been studied,and the adjustment model of bus vehicle scheduling has been established on the occasion of no spare vehicle with bus delay,and the algorithm for solving the model has been researched.And then,the outline design and detailed design for a prototype system of bus transit scheduling are completed.Finally,a case study is done to verify the transit time model.The historical data of 406 bus lines in dalian is used to generate bus timetables for work day and weekend separatelyaccording to the model of the bus timetable,then the comprehensive interests for passengers and enterprises for the bus timetable produced and real bus timetable are calculated separately and comparedin order to prove the validity of the model.At the same time,the prototype system of traffic planning has been realized for verifying the practical effect of the bus timetable model.As the preceding researches shown,the model of bus vehicle scheduling can be applied well in the actual operation with certain accuracy and effectiveness.The achievement of this paper has a certain theoretical and practical application value to improve the operation quality of urban public transport.
