Interior Space Design Research Of University Library Under The Background Of New Media Transformation

People's spiritual pursuit is becoming higher and higher with the development and progress of social economy, rapidly rising of science and technology, and today's increasingly trend of computer network and multimedia. University library is an important place for college teachers and students to consult literature material and pursue spiritual civilization. Under the background of today's new media transformation, the traditional university library can't meet the requirement of teachers and students in college, therefore, the university library should also change its design concept by the transformation of new media. University library should be given priority to towards digital information media, then change the previous paper-based media information for digital information library can save resources and promote the transfer of information. Under this background of new media transformation and to comply with the trend, university library not only need to change the function and the way of reading, but also need make more change from its space design principle, design method of space and so on. Interior space design of the traditional university library environment already cannot satisfy the needs of today's society, it should be practically considering the actual situation, to discuss the design of interior space in university library in depth. This article is mainly to research design concept and design method of university library's interior space design for meeting the demand of today's society.
