| In recent years,with the support of national policy and attention of the relevant construction enterprises in the industry,China’s steel construction has entered a stage of full swing.In practical engineering,the different degrees of damage or defects,which leads to the original steel structure building damage,are caused by some uncertain factors.These factors include structure design errors,personnel quality standards of construction,poor construction,construction conditions,improper selection of structural members,function changes,natural disasters and emergency incidents.When these damage or defects are accumulated to a certain degree,they will lead to some structural failure,which will seriously affect the safety and the use of the structure.Strengthening the steel structure can minimize the loss of property,prolong the service life of the structure,and ensure the safety and reliability of the strengthened structure.Therefore,the steel structure building reinforcement industry has become an important part of the contemporary construction industry.The existing literature on the steel structure reinforcement technology research has achieved results.However,there are obvious limitations in the case of the box type steel column research.Based on the problem of weld cracking of steel box columns of an electric furnace plant during the construction,the steel box column was reinforced with steel hoops and steel angles.The nonlinear buckling analysis has been carried out by using ABAQUS software.The research results provides reference for the design and construction of similar reinforcement projects in the future.The main content concludes:(1)Considering the influence of initial imperfections,residual stress,material nonlinearity and geometric nonlinearity,the box shaped steel columns with different reinforcement methods are simulated by nonlinear finite element method.Finally,the appropriate forms of reinforcement combination are selected.(2)The reinforcement parameter of the reinforcement form of the steel hoop and the angle includes the spacing between the steel hoop and the steel angle,the length andthickness of the steel angle.The reinforcement parameter of the reinforcement form of the angle includes the spacing between up-down steel angles,the length and thickness of the steel angle,the space of intermittent welds.According to the analytic result,some suggestions are presented for the geometric parameters of this strengthening design.(3)By changing the proportion of initial defects,the effect of the initial imperfection on the ultimate load and stress distribution of the reinforced box steel column is obtained.The research results provides reference for the design and construction of similar reinforcement projects in the future. |
