Application Of Sound Absorption And Insulation Materials In Air Conditioner Noise Reduction

With the improvement of people's living standard,the demand for environmental comfort is improved.Therefore,the improvement of air conditioner noise,become a problem which people have to face and need to continue to improve.In this paper,the noise spectrum of an air conditioner is analyzed,developing sound absorption and insulation materials for the targeted,the noise reduction processing is taken,effectively reduce the noise of the air conditioner.This primarily conclusions are as follows:1?the noise spectrum analysis of air conditioner is carried out.The results show that the air conditioning compressor is the main noise source of the air conditioning system,when the compressor is turned on,the noise peak occurs at 1000Hz,and the total sound pressure Level up to 54dB(A).2?In this paper,noise reduction materials are studied,and the acoustic performance of different sound absorption and insulation materials are compared.The results show that the PU foam material has good sound absorption performance,PVC material has excellent acoustic performance in sound insulation.Based on the spectrum of air conditioner noise,the noise reduction effect of sound absorption and sound insulation materials with different surface density was analyzed.The results show that the increase of the density of the sound absorption layer and the sound insulation layer has a promotion effect on the noise reduction effect of the compressor and air conditioner,900g/m~2's sound absorption layer compared with the 300g/m~2 can enhance the noise reduction of about 1dB(A);the noise reduction of 3.5kg/m~2's sound insulation layer is larger than 2.5kg/m~2's 2dB(A).3?The noise reduction of the soundproof cover which made of the selected sound absorption and sound insulation materials is analyzed.The part that needs to be improved in the structure sealing is determined.And through the practical application,the influence of the structure sealing on the noise reduction effect of the soundproof cover is summarized.In the end,noise reduction effect of two structures to the air conditioner are compared,one was soundproof cover,another one was additional sound insulation layer of air conditioning compressor room with the cover.The results show that these two kinds of structures have better noise reduction effect on air conditioner,and the noise of the air conditioner are reduced about 2dB(A)and 3?5dB(A)respectively.
