With the development of society and the progress of human being, energy and environment issue have become the hotspot of the society. The straightforward development is no longer pursued, and the depletion of fossil energy makes people concern renewable energy sources even more. Electric power, as the most widely used energy, has produced dramatic changes. The large-scale use of clean renewable energy generation such as wind power and photovoltaic generation, the access of electric vehicles and load demand response, as well as interaction between distribute network and micro-grid, make the bound of sources and grid of power system not simple one-way flow, but present complex form of interconnection, interaction and coupling.Under this background, the dispatching decision of power system is facing a difficult challenge. This challenge is not only about the method, the theory of dispatch under the new situation should also be studied deeply. Consequently, this paper focuses on the typical optimization problem of power system adopting wind power, the main work and achievement can be shown as follows:(1) Several economic dispatch model of power system concerning reserve response are analyzed. Reserve decision is the key problem of power system economic dispatch. This paper spreads from traditional, certain and static reserve configuration methods, then the objective function, constraints and model frame of dispatch model concerning reliability index, dispatch model concerning society value of loss load, market dispatch model concerning reserve costs are analyzed in sequence. The features and optimization are concluded to study the economic dispatch model of power system concerning probabilistic wind power reserve costs.(2) The economic dispatch model of power system concerning probabilistic wind power reserve costs is established in this section. The secondary regulation method is introduced into power system dispatch, and the economy is used to be the basic guide of decision. Then the economic dispatch model concerning probabilistic wind power reserve costs is established to pursue the balance between the economic participation factor and responsive speed factor, which realizes the optimal compromise when contradiction exists in pursuing economy and reserve responsive speed of power system.(3) The established economic dispatch model concerning probabilistic wind power reserve cost is solved analytically and an example is analyzed. The proposed model of this paper has complex integral terms, which must be analyzed to solve. Hence, the objective function with complex integral terms is calculated and deduced to normal distribution function integral unit, and the correctness and efficiency of proposed method is tested in this paper.
