The radiator is an indispensable accessory in the vehicle cooling system,The Performance of the radiator not only affects engine's fuel economy and mission,but also the engine's reliability.Since entering the new century,Energy and environmental issues are becoming more and more tense,The engine speed and power continue to increase,New vehicles are rapidly emerging,In order to meet the demand of vehicle cooling in the new era,Radiator must be become more efficient,lightweight and compact.This paper take ribbon-tubular automotive radiator as the object of study,Make an intensive study of ribbon-tubular radiator's Parametric design,matching up with the cooling system,heat transfer and resistance analysis and optimum design.Firstly,based on the biggest heat dissipating capacity that the engine can Produce,Combined with a domestic gasoline engine.The author designed ribbon-tubular Radiator,obtained core body's size,Parameters of water tube and heat dissipation fin.Secondly,Design and selection for other accessories of The cooling system,Established the model of the engine with the cooling system in GT_SUITE,According to the established model to explore the influencing factors of cooling system.Study the effect of water pump rotating speed on the radiator water temperature.Thirdly.According to the mean temperature difference method,Heat transfer and pressure drop characteristics for the corrugated radiator were established,Compile the corresponding simulation program based on MATLAB software,And establish the platform GUI simulation imitation.At last,To decrease the material used,this paper applies genetic algorithm to the optimum design of ribbon-tubular radiator.And gives an example to verified this optimization model.
