A planetary gear system is a common part of a mechanical transmission,and because of its unique structure and functional characteristics is widely used in mechanical equipment.However,due to the complexity of the working environment and the timeliness of working conditions,the planetary gear system is often faulty,resulting in equipment failure for the entire operation and huge economic losses.Therefore,this paper studies the damage modeling and fault analysis of the planetary gear system.This paper includes three main parts:First,it explains the structure and function of the planetary gear train in order to simplify it,and establishes a dynamic model.Combined with the specific structural parameters of the planetary gear system,establishes a specific dynamic differential equation.The torsional vibration period and torsional vibration frequency are obtained via MATLAB.Second,we look at different types of planetary gear faults-distributed faults and local failures.This paper studies the influence of the vibration signal model at the meshing point,the influence of the effect of the planetary gear and the influence of the transmission.The finite element modal analysis of the planetary gears and crack planetary gears is carried out by ANSYS.The progressive relationship between the natural frequency and the degree of damage to the planetary gear is obtained by modal analysis of planetary gears with different fault degrees.Third,this paper studies the fault diagnosis of the planetary gear train based on the characteristics of the planetary gear train in the mechanical equipment,which was designed to build a planetary gear train fault diagnosis simulation test bench.This was based on the LabVIEW Virtual Instrument which designed the Vibration Signal Acquisition Software System and the Algorithm Processing System.On this basis,carrying out the planetary gear system fault simulation experiment,the original signal is processed by the Fast ICA BSS algorithm based on Huber-M,and separating the residual target signal.Using the algorithm to obtaining the SBA values of SI?relHSI?SER.By comparing with the specific values obtained in the case of normal failure,the fault type and fault degree are diagnosed.The results of this study show that modeling and analysis of the dynamic model of the planetary gear system can help to describe the fault mechanism from the perspective of dynamics.The finite element modal analysis of the planetary gears can help to understand the mechanism of fault deformation more intuitively and to discuss the linear relationship between the natural frequency and the fault degree when the fault exists.Using the improved Fast ICA blind source separation technology,it can be quicker when using it to deal with the vibration signal,and it can also sort out the target signal accurately,and then the frequency domain index in the sideband analysis is used to diagnose the fault of the planetary gear system.This study is based on a combination of theory and experimentation,which has certain scientific applications and feasibility.The results show that the research of this subject has some reference value for the fault diagnosis of planetary gear system.
