The spent fuel dry storage has been favored by more and more countries because this way of storing is safer,more economic and more flexible.Currently many scholars use the CFD method to study the spent fuel dry storage.To solve the problem of unfriendly interface,tedious parameter setting and low efficiency during the simulation,developing a platform which apply the CFD software secondary development technology for the spent fuel dry storage is a reasonable resolution.Upon the above considerations,this thesis develops the spent fuel dry storage thermal analysis platform based on the commercial CFD software Fluent and CFD-Post.During the design phase,prototyping method is applied to the platform requirement analysis;the object-oriented software development method and the UML method is used for the modeling of the system to achieve high cohesion and low coupling of software structure;MVC architecture is adopted to disassemble the development module.During the development phase,a computing task database which stores all the input and output data is built by Access for the users' data query.According to the material physical parameters and the possible working conditions during actual operations,the database for material physical parameters and working conditions are built correspondingly.The parameterization of the simulation is achieved by creating Fluent script language compiled by Scheme language to read grid,set parameters,save results and etc.The different internal heat sources of the spent fuel are automatically loaded with the help of UDF.Extracting postprocessor results such as contour pictures,vector graphs or motion patterns and the highest internal temperature of the container are auto-generated by the way of secondary development of CFD-Post through cse file.The above documents have been generated by variable substitution method to achieve parameters' custom settings.The spent fuel dry storage thermal analysis platform realized the expected functions after a rigorous test.Numerical simulation and post-processing have been carried out to obtain the corresponding spent fuel container decay heat distribution performances under three different working conditions i.e.normal working condition,high temperature condition and clogged air flow channel condition.The simulation results were analyzed.The application of this spent fuel dry storage thermal analysis platform can greatly reduce the threshold of the use of Fluent and CFD-Post for engineering personnel,significantly improve the efficiency and accuracy of dry storage simulation,and thus provide more useful supports for the future design and optimization of spent fuel dry storage.
