Based on classical ideas of thermodynamics,the simulation model in this paper considers more comprehensive influencing factors,including thermodynamic state change in the steam accumulator,thermodynamic processes in steam flow(heat transfer,steam leakage,steam mixing and phase change,et cetera),circulation characteristics of launch valve,the profile of the metering rod,air resistance coefficient,mechanical efficiency of catapult,breaking force of release bar,and so on.The simulation software of this paper was programmed in an object-oriented way,also a graphical user interface being developed.The program is able to simulate a series of thermodynamic and kinetic parameters of steam catapult during the ejection process,at the same time,the program is easy to be expanded and can be run easily across different platforms.The ejection processes of a variety of carrier aircrafts via the C-7 or C-11 steam catapult were simulated respectively.At the end of the article,the variable parameter simulation analysis was carried out.
