Wheelchair at home and abroad are the main development trend of intelligent motor drive and control.And remote villages,lack of hardening of the road,in the face of more is soft,rough dirt road,the wheelchair design flexibility demand higher.Combined with the rural income level is low,claim the wheelchair with low cost.According to these requirements,this paper design a all-terrain wheelchairs for remote villages.First of wheelchair research both at home and abroad were summarized,and introduces the classification and the basic component of manual wheelchair wheelchairs.The so-called all-terrain wheelchairs,is aimed at all kinds of different pavement wheelchair can run normally.Next all-terrain wheelchairs designed in this paper is on the basis of common manual wheelchairs and lever and sprocket drive mechanism,and appropriately increase the width of the tire.Paper studies the basic design parameters,all-terrain wheelchair including leveraged computing drive mechanism,wheelchair minimum turning radius,climbing ability,parking brake,design and analysis of the slope of the wheel.Secondly on the basis of ergonomics,to the size of modification of all-terrain wheelchairs,determine the length of the lever.Determine the basic structure of all-terrain wheelchairs,three-dimensional model is established.In order to calculate the maximum speed of all-terrain wheelchairs and maximum climbing angles,for the measurement of the friction coefficient and maximum thrust measurement,it is concluded that the maximum velocity of all-terrain wheelchairs and climbing angles.Finally,the wheelchair has carried on the finite element analysis,the use of the Q235 steel,aluminum and magnesium alloy materials are analyzed.In cases that could satisfy the requirement of design and use,choose the most economical of Q235 steel.Rural soft,rough dirt road,the author of this paper,based on the ergonomics principle for the design of the all-terrain wheelchairs,and through the finite element analysis for the structure optimization,on the premise of meet the design requirements to choose the most economical materials.
