Pushover Analysis Of A Super High-rise Building | | Posted on:2017-01-17 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:X H Xu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2322330512478877 | Subject:Architecture and civil engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | In recent years,with the rapid development of super high-rise buildings in our country,the seismic performance analysis of super high-rise structures has been paid wide attention.China is in an seismically active area,so the seismic response and seismic performance analysis of high-rise structures has great significance to the anti-earthquake design method of high-rise structures.The Pushover analysis is a widely applied method of seismic performance analysis.Analyzing seismic performance of high-rise structures with the Pushover analysis method has an important theoretical value and engineering significance.This paper establishes the Pushover analysis of super high-rise structures based on a super high-rise building of core-RC and composite frame hybrid structure with strengthened stories,implemented with general finite element analysis software ABAQUS.The model is validated through comparisons with the SATWE model.This paper studies the effects of lateral load pattern on the Pushover analysis through performing Pushover analyses on the super high-rise structure with five typical lateral load patterns and contrasting the results of those Pushover analyses.Comparison between Pushover analysis and dynamic elastic-plastic time history analysis is performed using five typical load patterns,and some suggestions about the selection of lateral load pattern in Pushover analysis of super high-rise buildings are proposed.The Pushover analysis of this super high-rise building is studied using the modal combination distribution as the lateral load pattern and the super high-rise building is optimized according to the result of the Pushover analysis.Research shows that Pushover analysis has some accuracy and applicability in super high-rise structures.The Pushover analysis with the modal combination distribution has the highest accuracy on maximum inter-story displacement angle and overall level of displacement.The seismic performance analysis of the super high-rise structure shows that the structure has good seismic performance and ductility to meet the seismic demands and the structure has a certain emergency capacity under rare earthquake. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Super high-rise building, strengthened stories, lateral load pattern, static elastic-plastic analysis, Pushover analysis, elastic-plastic demand spectrum, ABAQUS | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
