Transmission lines coated with ice is one of the various natural disasters.The heavy ice-coating would cause ice flashover,disconnection or tower fall,which will severely affect the operation of power system.De-icing of transmission lines is the main method to deal with ice-coating.In existing researches,previous researchers consider the mechanical deicing as a widely used way because of several advantages such as low energy consumption,high efficiency,applicability etc.During the de-icing process,unreasonable de-icing sequence increases the maximum imbalanced force of the lines.The previous researches on the sequence of deicing,the majority of them adopt the genetic algorithm to optimize the de-icing process which is relatively slow and uneasy to generate the most optimized deicing order.Those disadvantages make it difficult to be utilized.Therefore,this paper goes on using implicit enumeration to optimize the mechanical deicing sequence.The method could calculate the optimal results with high calculation efficiency.The main work of this paper following:Firstly,this paper establishes the precise computation model to calculate the stress of the continuous span line and studies both the positive and negative aspects of mechanical deicing on transmission lines with a series of simulation models.Besides,the paper analysis the disadvantage of the genetic algorithm in practical application.Secondly,this paper sets the minimum value of the tower’s maximum unbalanced power during the de-icing process,as objective function and establishes a mathematic model for calculating the de-icing sequence.In order to decrease the numbers of sequence combination and improving efficiency,two parameters are selected:" To select the minimum branch of the maximum FC value" as well as "to set a mark for calculated data".Precise stages and diagram are also given in the paper.Thirdly,it did a simulation analysis on the MATLAB platform.Based on simulation put by the previous researches compares the positive sequence,negative sequence and the sequence calculated based on the genetic algorithm in other research with the optional sequence calculated with the implicit enumeration method.The result shows that the implicit enumeration method can optimize de-icing in a more effective and accurate way.It provides a useful mothed for the engineering application of mechanical deicing.
