As an efficient and convenient means of transport,tank truck has been widely used in the actual production and transportation process,especially for the transport of goods such as liquid and dust.In the process of liquid transportation,the lateral stability of the vehicle has been adversely affected due to the sloshing of the liquid,a lot of tank truck accidents are also closely related to liquid sloshing.In the design stage of the tank,engineers design vertical plate to prevent the longitudinal liquid sloshing,but few people have designed horizontal plate to improve lateral stability.In this paper,the effect of liquid sloshing on the lateral stability of some certain vehicle was studied.The potential flow theory and Galerkin method are used to establish the fluid model in this paper,reference the analysis of liquid fuel sloshing in spacecraft.Mass spring damping model was established to couple with the vehicle according to the principle of equivalence.In this paper,the influence of Vehicle Shimmy on vehicle handling stability was also considered,and the vehicle dynamics model with ten degrees of freedom was established by using Lagrange equation.In this paper,Matlab is used to simulate the model,and the effect of liquid sloshing on vehicle dynamic response was studied in many aspects.Calculation results showed that the dynamic pressure caused by liquid sloshing on the wall of the tank cannot be ignored,and this made the vehicle lateral stability worse.At the same time,a large number of numerical examples were calculated to investigate the influence of the body parameters on the lateral stability of tank truck.These work provided direction for improving lateral stability and provided foundation for the further research of tank truck in the future.
