Fuel cells are receiving particular attention since they are highly efficient,pollution-free energy sources and have the advantages of low noise and relatively free site selection.The bipolar plate.Fabrication of bipolar plate and its own hot press machine always limit the development of PEMFC due to its various materials.Thus,research on bipolar plate hot press become an important substance.In this thesis,based on the previous fabrication of bipolar plate,four manufacture requirements for bipolar plate hot press which consists of function,design,structure and die requirements,has been proposed in order to provide reference for design and production for bipolar plate hot press,and the main works were as follows:(1)Comparion on three types of hydraulic press,framed hydraulic press was chosen as bipolar plates press due to its better strength and cheaper costing.Then designed the structure of framed hydraulic press for manufacturing bipolar plates.(2)Comparion on point type flow field,parallel grooves flow field and serpentine channel flow field,grooves flow field was chosen to design die for bipolar plates.Comparion on gear mechanism,cam mechanism and ratchet mechanism,ratchet mechanism was the most suitable for manufacturing bipolar plates to eliminate the rough surface of die and working platform.(3)According to the theory of heat transfer,heating channel diameter and numbers were designed.Then hot plates were analysized with DMTA to testfy if the hot plates were ligible and proved by experment.(4)Based on the actual load of die and fuselage,thermal-mechanical coupling simulation and statics simulation were analysized to expose thermal deformation mechanism of die and fuselage with thermal load.(5)Doing experiment on die and fuselage to prove the thermal deformation mechanism of die and fuselage.And doing erperiment on manufacturing bipolar plates to testfy whether the deformation of die and fuselage affected the quality of bipolar plate.
