With the progress of science and technology,marine high-power electrical equipment is increasing day by day.The complexity of the power plant is increasing day by day.In the traditional low voltage power system is insufficient to meet the demand,the medium voltage power system has been widely applied in ships.At the same time the difficulty of management and control of the ship power station also has increased.In order to improve the reliability,stability and economy of the ship power station,but also ensure the optimal configuration of the ship power in various states,it is necessary to study the modeling and simulation of power system.Firstly,the structure and function of the ship medium voltage power system are described based on the "the Atlantic" of 19100TEU container ship.Secondly,under the premise of guaranteeing the authenticity and accuracy of the simulation,the modularization method is used to set up the model of diesel engine and governor system,synchronous generator and excitation system,vehicle control,transformer and load.And the use of coordinated control of the speed control and excitation control of the mutual coupling of the control system to form a complete diesel generator control system.Then,power system operation and power management system is studied from three aspects:unit scheduling control,generator frequency and load adjustment and power optimization management.Finally,after validating the model in Simulink environment of MATLAB software,the modules are combined to get the power station overall simulation model.The simulation results are also given for the normal operation,fault condition and parallel operation of marine power station.Through the evaluation and analysis of the simulation results,it can be confirmed that the model established in this paper can accurately reflect the actual operation of the ship power system.The high cost and high risk of the typical working condition and failure test in the real ship system is avoided.
