| To alleviate the traffic congestion and solve the problem of travel demand diversity,customized bus could provide passengers with fast and efficient service.At present,because of the poor method to obtain travel demands,it is hard to estimate the potential demand.In addition,the lack of considering the economic benefit of the public transport operators leads to many problems like unreasonable routes and operation schemes,thus inducing to resources shortage problems and low service level.With the arrival of the era of big data,traffic data have brought new opportunities for the development of intelligent transportation.Based on bus IC data,this paper aims to acquire passenger travel information and analyze passengers travel characteristics,which provides theoretical support for customized bus system design.The optimization model is supposed to meet the demand of passengers,reduce travel time and balance the interests of the operators by optimal the customized bus routes.The innovation points are as follows:(1)Acquirement of traffic demand based on bus IC data Based on IC card data,bus stops and bus lines information,methods such as data pretreatment,OD measurement,bus station matching and bus station identification have been applied to gain the travel information and travel chain of traffic between the site statistics,which helps to get the OD matrix by counting passenger flows.Besides,this paper also obtains the travel information during morning peak time to support the optimization of the customized bus.(2)Analyses of passengers travel characteristics By calculating the trip distances and passenger flows of bus stops based on the OD matrix,this paper concentrates on figures,including OD flow graph,passenger source figure and so on.According to figures,the origins during morning peak time are in the residence areas of urban periphery,the destinations are close to subway stations and commercial distracts,and the passenger flows are from around together to the center.Because the temporal distribution and spatial distribution of passenger flows are centralized,it is suitable to operate customized bus.(3)Route optimization of customized bus The customized bus route optimization has been modeled based on the passengers travel characteristics.Meanwhile,this paper designs the operation standard of customized bus according to stations’ passenger volumes,considering both of the interests of traveler and operating system,and the target of the model is to reduce the cost of travel time and operation.This paper also considers fleet,the length of route and other factors to set constrains.After that,using GA algorithms and Branch and Cut Algorithm to verify the effectiveness of algorithms,and analyzing the numerical results.The analysis shows that the results are influenced by speed,number of stations and length of routes.Finally,this paper utilizes related indexes to evaluate the optimal route,and finds that it is reliable to meet passengers’ demands and reduce the cost of operator. |
