This project has some advantages. Such as the concentration of economic advantage, has a long history, close to the Liuyang River with great natural scenery and environmental advantages. Meanwhile, the project also has some shortcomings like limited area, poor management and so on. By the way, the new construction and development of this region is around the corner. This situation may cause the former residence of Liu Ziming attractions appear "high input but low return" phenomenon, as well as the planning system is not perfect, Thus affect the development of attractions.Through a series of exploration and research, Liu Ziming landscape design using "origin" as the main ideas to commemorate the sacrifice of revolutionaries and scientists. The project is mainly using the method of Chinese classical garden design, reserve some intact plants within the site, which has a good landscape effect. We Re-planning space and resources so that we can get five new functional areas. The core landscape areas, the tea Memorial areas, the leisure activities areas, the fitness area, and the parking area. Then, complete the design.This thesis made a series of exploration and research. We collected many information, which is in relation to the former residence of Liu Ziming landscape design. We summed up the former residence of Liu Ziming landscape design's landscape orientation, which belongs to the landscape of the former residence of Changsha city. Then considering the characteristics of the urban development strategy and the site, design a beautiful tourist attraction with "production", "learning", "research", "tour" and other functions. However, there are still some problems. For example, design lacking in long-term development planning for the former residence of Liu Ziming, which is need to do further research and exploration.
