With the development of industry,the application of the motor becomes wider and wider,and the requirements of the performance of the motor drive system becomes much higher than before.The Permanent Magnet Fault-Tolerant Motor occupies the characteristics of physical isolation,magnetic isolation,thermal isolation and electrical isolation through the improvement of its own structure.The fault-tolerance performance establish on the basis that fault can be detected accurately that the operation state can be switched from error state to fault tolerant control state.In order to improve the reliability of Permanent Magnet Fault-Tolerant Motor and the control system effectively,the paper choose the Permanent Magnet Fault-Tolerant Motor as the research object,choose FPGA as fault detection controller to study on the fault detection and diagnosis of the motor.The system solved the problem of lacking I/O port,poor real time character.The scheme has the advantage of fault detecting timely and accurately,less resource occupied and modirying design convenient.After analysis the structure of the Fault-Tolerant Permanent Magnet Motor and drive system and the perfonnance characteristics under the normal state and fault state,the Fault-Tolerant Motor fault detection scheme is proposed.According to IGBT voltage to detect 1GBT open-circuit fault,by measuring the real time current amplitude to detect the IGBT short-circuit fault and winding open-circuit and short-circuit fault.Designed the motor drive circuit PCB,opein-circuit fault detection circuit PCB,IGBT short-circuit fault detection circuit PCB,motor winding current detection circuit PCB,etc.Using Spartan 3E FPGA development kit-board as the fault detection controller by using Verilog language to write the fault detection program,communication program,display program etc.in the ISE14.7 programming environment.Finally,Luse TMS320F28335 DSP as the operation controller to verify the feasibility of the project.The test results validate the fault detection and diagnosis scheme can detect the fault effectively.
