With the growing maturity of the embedded system and the communication networks,home intelligent system is also moving towards to the direction of network,information and smartness.When young people are busy with their work and lack of time to accompany the elderly,the communication between them is gradually decreasing,therefore,a home intelligent terminal for the elderly consumer has become a new demand.In this thesis,we propose to design the convenient and intelligent terminal for the elderly.Home intelligent terminal is an embedded communication equipment and designed for the elderly,its greatest feature is the convenience,and solve the problem such as cumbersome intelligent terminal to make the elderly inconvenient operation.The construction of this system is on the basis of the Linux operating system,and the TMS320DM365 chip come to the core processor.In addition,use Qt_Embedded as the GUI system.This design is conducive to promote the communication between the elderly and their families,thus owns the social value and significance.In this thesis,we introduce it mainly from the design of the hardware and the terminal GUI(Graphical User Interface)system.The main work and results of this are as follows:1.This thesis expounds the background and the significance of researching the home intelligent terminal,and analyzes the research status of home intelligent communication equipment and GUI system.Combined with the problem that the older people are less likely to operate complex intelligent terminals,we study the demand of the home intelligent terminal and present some design ideas,the system overview and the choice of communication platform.2.According to the functional analysis,the function modules of the hardware circuit are designed.This design uses the TMS320DM365,which is based on DaVinci technology,as the core processor.The audio module adopts TVL320AIC3101 chip to realize audio signal coding and decoding,and SGM489IYDE8 G chip for audio signal amplification.The video module employs CCD camera and pan-tilt controlled by the MAX485 to achieve video signal acquisition,and TVP5151 chip for encoding and decoding of video signal.The final human-computer interaction is achieved through the LCD display,capacitive touch screen,physical buttons.3.This thesis states the concept of GUI,and take Qt_Embedded as the terminal GUI system,also describe the working mode and event mechanism of Qt_Embedded,then introduce its selection of cross compiling tools for different working environments.This thesis concentrates on explaining the communication mode between the device and the server,the design of the GUI,and the transplantation of Qt in DM365.4.In the stage of testing experiments,we configure the terminal work environment,and analyze the obtained teting results of each function module.The final testing results show that each module can work properly,and consist the analysis of the functional requirements.
