Geological disasters in Linzhi to Bomi section of Tibet national highway have long endangered the traffic and personal safety, especially the failure of the accumulative soil slope in the region, which have caused huge economic and security burden every year. This thesis mainly researched the area of Linzhi to Bomi section of G318 Sichuan-Tibet highway. There are many Geological disasters from K3951+000 to K4223+000 section of the research zone as the research object. Reference to the research achievements of predecessors, through actual investigation and geological data, summarizes the research area of the main types of geological disasters, the carrier of all kinds of geological disasters, the main characteristics of the deposit. Consider the spatial relationships between deposit slope and road, using numerical simulation software FLAC3D, respectively simulated the three slope deposit which is located in the highway at the top of the slope, the deposit which is located in the highway side slope, and the road is located on the slope deposit, it is concluded that they form the main deformation and destruction. According to damaged mechanics properties of slope failure modes, given some kinds of prevention and control measures. The main research contents and the results are as follows:(1) Through consulting literature and actual investigation, summarizes the G318 Sichuan-Tibet highway Linzhi to Bomi section of engineering geological conditions, climate, hydrological geology, earthquake situation, etc.(2) On the road which Linzhi to Bomi section of G318 Sichuan-Tibet highway, statistical investigated the geological disasters along the road, to map the distribution of geological hazards picture.(3) Calculated the distribution of all kinds of deposit in the study area density, size; We mapped the distribution gradient slope zone; Deposit research area are summarized and the main composition; Statistical studied the main inducing factors of geological disasters in the area of rainfall, at the same time, artificial slope cutting is also the main reason;.(4) Considering the slope and the influence of highway spatial relations of highway, using FLAC3D software of three deposit slope (mileage G318 K3930+200, K4230+400, K3976+400) are simulated, and indicates that the main failure modes are:typical deposit slope surface erosion, overall buckling and local off slump three forms, and compared with the actual phenomenon, to verify the accuracy of the software to simulate the actual slope deformation and destruction.(5) According to damaged mechanics properties of slope failure modes, summarizes the application of all kinds of prevention and control measures.
