Landscape Reconstruction Of Xishan Baijiazhuang Coal Mine In Shanxi Province

Xishan Coal at Taiyuan, Shanxi is one of China’s major coal mining bases and coal mine resources have been depleted by a lot of exploitation, and now a large area of coal mine ground the ecological environment has been severely damaged caused serious environmental pollution and impeded the process of urban development. Therefore in order to meet the needs of the economic development of our country, the pressing problems of Xishan Coal abandoned land should be solved quickly in a ecological restoration, landscape reconstruction, cultural inheritance and industrial trasformation way.By analyzing domestic and international successful case of abandoned coal mine, the findings of Xishan Coal abandoned status quo and development process, this study summed Xishan Coal abandoned landscape reconstruction optimal strategy and brought out preliminary landscape restruction design of the nearby area of Xishan Baijiazhuang mine No.2 from the economic, ecological, cultural and landscape areas and according to the characteristics of this area. What’ more, this study also supplemented by construction technical guidance to let Xishan Coal culture are valued and preserved, achiev the district economic transformation at same time. We hope that this paper can provide a reference for the study of post-abandoned coal mine landscape reconstruction methods.
