In the process of the development of highway in China, the crack filling and sewing as a powerful means of pavement maintenance, great attention by the road workers to fill cracks seam, not only can improve road performance, but also can extend the service life of the road. Asphalt pavement crack filling and sewing process, requirements and the quality of filling and sewing the material itself, determines the effect of the crack repair. Fine crack seal technology, can make the caulking repair of the posterior life gets great improvement. So in order to obtain better irrigation sewing effect, should according to the actual requirements of construction and conditions to determine filling and sewing process. Growing trend in the current pavement cracks, the crack repair material related knowledge and theory to solve the crack repair problems, prolong road service has important theoretical significance and practical application value.The current widely used asphalt pavement crack seal materials mainly divided into three categories. Class is the first kind of organic silicon resin filling and sewing the material and more for new pavement crack repair, organic silicon resin filling and sewing the material is characterized by big viscosity, liquidity is poor, and the construction conditions the demand is higher, the price is more expensive; The second type is a matrix with emulsified asphalt cold irrigation sewing the material filling type, its characteristic is without heating, can be used in the wet pavement and the crack surface dust; The third kind is hot filling type rubber asphalt, its characteristic is simple to construction requirement, wide application, low prices. Most current irrigation sewing products abroad not only construction technology is complex, and the price is higher, this limits the popularization and application of filling and sewing the material products. Domestic asphalt pavement crack seal material existence is not high, low temperature embitterment bonding, heat flow, easy to cause the failure of pavement crack repair.This article in view of the highway asphalt pavement crack formation mechanism and its repairing technology was studied, the purpose to provide actual seam filling and repairing construction with the scientific theory basis. Combined with the results of the survey of the highway asphalt pavement cracks in Liaoning province, in the summary analysis at home and abroad used in the asphalt pavement crack seal material problems, on the basis of based on the research of the high-performance modified asphalt filling and sewing materials and application, develop good performance, maneuverability well adapted to the asphalt concrete road surface crack repair crack seal material.In this paper, the extensive research on asphalt pavement crack seal material, selection of four kinds of road crack seal materials with excellent properties for performance comparison and analysis, the softening point and cone into the degree, flow value, low temperature tensile and elastic recovery and other technical indicators, at the same time combined with rubber asphalt material such as asphalt, SBS modified asphalt, the advantages and disadvantages of selected several kinds of raw materials, mainly includes: asphalt, modifier, rubber powder, rubber aromatic oil and other additives. Selection of asphalt mainly inspects penetration, high and low temperature performance indicators such as better matrix asphalt; Rubber powder should choose higher fineness powder, shall not use recycled rubber powder. Aromatic base rubber oil to choose the type of sensitivity to temperature is relatively small. Consider revising, Determine asphalt, rubber powder, rubber aromatic oil and the blending proportion of additives, and indoor experiment, test equipment mainly includes: low temperature tensile testing machine, the softening point meter, fluidity apparatus for cone into the instrument, such as test instruments, through a lot of experimental research, the development of three kinds of crack seal material the indicators meet the specification requirements, performance is superior to the selected four kinds of irrigation sewing the material, especially the low temperature indicators, has significant advantages, and the price lower than similar products. Products developed to improve the cohesiveness of filling and sewing materials, including the high temperature stability and low temperature tensile properties. Put forward the high-performance enrichment applicable condition of modified asphalt filling and sewing materials, production technology and construction technology.
