| Phase shifting transformer was also called angle regulator, it had equal voltage but different phase angle at both source side and load side, and the phase angle could be regulated continuously in a range. Through this regulation, the current in parallel electrical transmission line could be controlled, which solved the over-current problem, improved the efficiency and stability of electrical system. And through this regulation, the power flow could also be regulated, which made the energy distribution more reasonable.Phase shifting transformer could be divided in two basic types:single-core and two-core. In this article, both calculation programs were researched and compared. 220kV phase shifting transformer was taken as an example, the parameter and design were confirmed, and calculation program, structure design were made. A model of 220kV phase shifting transformer was made through the same design.With the assist of VEI, Magnet, and Ansys software, etc., the main insulation, longitudinal insulation, anti-short circuit ability and leakage magnetic field of 220kV phase shifting transformer were analyzed, and the tank strength of the 220kV phase shifting transformer model was also simulated. The electrical and magnetic field distribution, improvement measures of anti-short circuit ability and tank strength were researched. Design program was optimized to make sure the insulation was reliable, the structure could stand the short circuit current, the parts did not have any overheated point, tank strength could bear the vacuum requirement, the parameter of product was qualified.The manufacturing of 220kV phase shifting model was carried out. The process plan was researched through this process, corresponding process plan was made according to its structure characteristic. Test plan was researched and design parameter and simulation result of the model were tested through the test process.Key technology of 220kV phase shifting transformer was mastered through the research above. |
