Aeronautical battery is an important part of aircraft power supply system, which can supply power to the key equipment of the aircraft when the main power failure occurs, and ensure the safe running and landing of the aircraft. The aircraft battery needs to be connected in series in order to meet the demand of the power equipment group in the process of using, however, due to the difference of the internal characteristics of single cell in series battery pack, the working state of each individual cell is not consistent, which seriously affects the safety and service life of the battery. Therefore, it is of great scientific significance and engineering application value to study the battery charge and discharge equalization technology, and to design an effective balance system to improve the consistency of the battery pack.This thesis mainly focuses on the key technologies of the aircraft battery charge and discharge equalization. The research content contains following aspects:(1) The classification and characteristics of the battery equalization circuit are analyzed, the structure of bidirectional Buck-Boost energy non-dissipative equalization circuit is adopted, and the working principle and basic parameters of the circuit are analyzed and designed, the control variables are compared and analyzed, and the battery terminal voltage is selected as the control variable.(2) The balance control strategy of storage battery is studied. According to the specific working mode of the equalization circuit, the control strategy is designed according to the advantages of the common equilibrium strategy. In the MATLAB environment, the simulation model of the balance control system is built, and the balance control is carried out for the battery pack with different voltage distribution, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the balance schemes is verified.(3) Design and build the battery equalization charging and discharging experiment platform, the hardware part realizes the design of the main controller module, the equalization circuit module, the drive circuit module, the signal acquisition module and so on. According to the function of the system and the corresponding control strategy, the software is designed to complete the program. At the same time, the monitor and display interface of the host computer is developed to monitor the balance of the experiment process and the parameter calibration.(4) Balanced charging and discharging experiments of nickel cadmium batteries are made on the experimental platform, experimental results show that the design of balance system can not only significantly improve battery inconsistency, but also effectively extended battery charge and discharge time, improve the utilization rate of the whole battery group capacity.
