America’s most advanced fifth generation fighter F-22 has been in service for more than ten years,while in other countries the pace of development of fifth generation fighter has been gradually catching up. For example, China’s J-20, J-31 and Russia’s T-50 have been successful test flight, the United States of America’s air superiority has been a great challenge. In this case, the US accelerates the development of the next generation fighter, the sixth generation fighter.In this paper, the sixth generation fighter F/A-XX is the research object, the 3D reconstruction is carried out, and the analysis of the aerodynamic and stealth characteristics of the reconstructed 3D model is carried out, which provides reference and guidance for the development of our country. Firstly,the development history and the generation method of fighter jets are introduced, and the design features of the sixth generation fighter are analyzed. Secondly, the reconstruction of F/A-XX is completed based on the photos, then do unstructured mesh and use FLUENT software to calculate aerodynamic for F/A-XX, the lift, drag, lift-drag ratio characteristics are analyzed at subsonic, transonic and supersonic and the aircraft take-off and landing performance on an aircraft carrier is analyzed. At last, the radar target characteristic of F/A-XX is calculated. The RCS of F/A-XX is calculated by Physical Optics algorithm and the stealth performance is summed up.
