In order to realize On-Orbit Service to GEO satellites, research has been done on the transfer process from LEO to GEO of OOS Vehicle in this paper, including the transfer-orbit design and the guidance methods.Firstly, transfer-orbit design is investigated. Based on Hohmann's and Lambert's theories, two methods are discussed. Simulations are done in different cases to get a better comparation between the two methods. The second part introduces the guidance method form LEO to GTO. After introducing the basic velocity guidance algorithm, a new sectional algorithm to calculate the required velocity which can revise the influence caused by the J2 perturbation is proposed. In the third part, an iterative guidance algorithm is studied in the process from GTO to GEO. As the traditional algorighm can not satisfy the entire six final restrains, an optimalization on the launch time is brought in. Stimulation results verified the effectiveness of this method.Lastly, a simulation on the adaptability of the two guidance methods is done. With the development of space technology, the OOS Vehichle will be one of the most important fields in the space application. The study in this paper could be useful in the future development of related fields.
