To detect the lube oil of airplane engine is an important measure for monitoring the engine's health condition. We use many off-line methods to monitor the lube oil at present,those methods can't judge and forecast the engine condition, so it may cause the damage of engine more serious. To research the on-line detection method has important meaning on extend the engine working life and mange its health condition.An engine lube oil detection method belonging to non-destructive testing technology related in text is based on electromagnetic sensitivity. The method is to detect and analysis the metal abrasive dust in lube oil. The main research contents are:(1)Analyzing the characteristic of magnetic field distribution of electric solenoid, to calculate the relation of inside magnetic field intensity and current or voltage based on“Biot-Savart Law”. Building and simulation the sensor model by using COMSOL software,to ensure the coil inner diameter?wire diameter?number of turns and other parameter. In view of the electromagnetic compatibility made the sensor, the sensor is made of enameled wire and plastic pipe.(2)The core-board is using STM32 single-chip as master controller and running U/COS-? operating system.(3)Analysis the relation of the magnetic field intensity of sensor and excitation current and designed an current resource. The current's frequency and amplitude can be adjusted by programming. Designed the signal collect and dispose system based on the sensor sensitive mechanism and its output characteristic.(4)In the last, Designing the transfer system of abrasive dust. Simulating the movement of abrasive dust in lube oil pipeline on condition that in lab. Using stepping motor to drive the conveyor, making the little abrasive dust fixed on conveyor to through the sensor then gather the signal. The result of testing shows the output signal can distinguish the metal abrasive dust which physical dimensions is3??0.50.73 mm. The system can reach the design requirements.
