However, the bamboo lamps with certain limitations are no more popular in consumers nowadays, which are repleced by modern lamps and lanterns. In recent years, due to the shortage of wood, the ecology is gradual out of balance. Many experts and scholars put forward the strategy of developing bamboo technology to make a favorable market environment for bamboo lamps and lanterns. And the implementation of LED technology, which makes an excellent development opportunity for the interior design of bamboo lamps and lanterns based on LED technology. But currently, the modern bamboo lamps and lanterns are still not popular. Moreover, there are few examples in the market which combine the bamboo lampls and LED light source together representing Chinese design culture.In this thesis, based on the overview of LED technology, the value of bamboo lamps and lanterns as well as the analysis of present situation, we mainly discuss the combination of LED technology and bamboo lamps and lanterns, through the new Chinese style design technique and the design practice, giving LED bamboo lamps and lanterns a new vitality. This topic research aims to give the LED lamps and lanterns design an value of east aesthetic, develop traditional culture of bamboo lamps, and combine them with modern design, which meets the needs of modern home life. In addition. It helps to improve the quality of the design of LED bamboo lamps and lanterns and the cultural connotation, providing a certain reference value to the design and research of LED bamboo lamps and lanterns.
