The Research Of The Medium Space Design Between The Commercial Complex And The Rail Traffic Space

With the growth of urban population and the accelerated process of urbanization, traffic of urban central area congestion, environmental degradation, lack of land resources must be resolved. Rail transport as a means of public transport has the advantages of convenient, comfortable, efficient and safe, you can solve the ills of urbanization.At the same time, land intensification prompted the development of commercial complexes. In this context, the connected between commercial complex and railway came into being, making close between the two. The connected "bridge" is the medium space between commercial complex and rail traffic.The paper is divided into six chapters:The first and the second chaper are the basis and background research, chaper 3,4 and 5 are cores in this thesis, chapter 6 is the conclusion. As follows:The first chapter is include the background, meaning, purpose, object and scoping, status at home and abroad, content, methods and framework of research.The second chapter is theoretical research related to concept of medium space. First, it introduces former research and development of medium space; and then sort out and analysis the relevent concepts; finally, it introduces the theory and application of medium space in the design;The third chapter is the study of design elements of medium space, including the study of composition and spatial characteristics of medium space, spatial form and its influencing factors, function of space, streamline of space and physics environment of space. This chapter is the basic study of research and design work of medium space.The fourth chapter is one of the core section of this paper and is to sort, analyze, summarize the research work mainly. Gathering first-hand information about the medium space to made a very thorough analysis on the connections(medium space) between commercial complex especially selected for the research object and rail transport, including the characteristics, status and problems of spatial composition, traffic streamline, function formats the physical environment. Trying to figure out the intrinsic relationship between the medium space, commercial complex and rail transport and summarizing the advantages to be inherited to provide design philosophy and practical foundation for the media space.The fifth chapter is one of the core chapters of this thesis. This chapter mainly sorts, analyzes the medium space according to the fourth chapter of the research work. Analyzing spatial composition, traffic streamline, function formats the physical environment of media space how to design. First, making the appropriated design principles for design strategy in later paragraphs. And then discussing design points of spatial composition, traffic streamline, function formats the physical environment to provide a theoretical basis for guiding practice in the future.The sixth chapter is case design of this paper. Transforming design strategy of space, streamline, function and landscape through actual cases of medium space and providing a practical basis for the philosophy.The seventh chapter is the conclusion of the six chapters summarized again combing, strengthening the concluded view.
