The Research Of Landscape Inscription In The Chinese Classical Literati Garden

“Dwelling in the land of poetry on”, which Heidegger said has been the goal of human settlements in contemporary society. The wisdom of “the harmony between nature and humanity” in Chinese Classical Literati Gardens can be the model of it, which aims to pursue the humanity of spiritual culture, material life and natural environment. Among all the Chinese Literati Gardens, poetry in the Landscape inscriptions can particularly reflect this state.However, current researches about landscape inscriptions are still lack of systematic analysis, the research perspectives are narrow and not deep, and the ideological connotation and formal aesthetic of most studies are superficial. This paper aims to comb history development and cultural causes, understand the specific form and characteristics in the literary and the space through literature summary and analysis of garden examples. On this basis, it summarizes the effects of landscape inscription in Literati Gardens to deepen the understanding of Chinese Classical Literati Gardens, so as to be a reference to the modern gardens.The basic ideas of the research and the main contents of each chapter are as follows:Chapter 1, Introduction. It specifies the backgrounds and propose the research target, then defines the scope of the research subject and determines the scope of time and space according to research needs and the reality. At last through the review it determines the focus of the research and framework of this study.Chapter 2, The genesis and development of landscape inscriptions. It analyses the reasons for the formation of the literati gardens through the comprehensive art of literati gardens, the core position in the traditional art of literati, literati’s participations in the landscape design, the artistic conception of literati gardens and the aesthetic value of Chinese calligraphy. Then it comb the typical types and characteristics in different times based on the historical development of literati gardens.Chapter 3, The content of literature expression of landscape inscriptions. First combing the concepts and basic features in landscape inscription of different literary genres, then summarizing the elements contain and the basic themes in literati gardens, and generalizing the expression characteristics of landscape inscription.Chapter 4, The form of space expression of landscape inscriptions. It combs different kinds of garden inscriptions, analyzes the selection principles of size, shape, material, color as well as the space layout principles of different kinds of garden inscription by the coupling between garden inscription and garden environment.Chapter 5, The role of landscape inscriptions in literati gardens. According to the foregoing analysis, it summarizes the function of the landscape inscriptions in expression of ideas, landscape description, artistic effects, space decoration, construction guidance, cultural heritage and some other aspects, to understand landscape inscription from the overall perspective.Chapter 6, Conclusions. On the basis of previous researches, it summarizes complementarity relationship between landscape inscriptions and literati gardens, and the interlinked relationship. Then puts forward references of literary and form expression in modern landscape.
