The wave of information technology revolution is sweeping the world, the user needs to support more and more intense data communication anytime, anywhere. To achieve the goal, the underlying interconnection way of computer networks, e.g., Internet, is changed from the traditional wired to wireless and from fixed to mobile. During the evolution, wireless network technology has been rapid development. However,as the wireless channel is open and sharing, it is vulnerable to jamming attack.Development of new technologies will inevitably bring changes in military operations. With the "information dominance" in the pursuit, as well as with the development of C4 ISR systems, even at the regiment or battalion level,it is required to receive and process a large number of packets, including multimedia data, electronic maps and other information. Due to the convenience, flexibility and other characteristics fitting the requirements of military, wireless networks have been adopted widely. It is therefore important to guarantee the safety of military wireless network. However, the characteristics of wireless networks such as openness, broadcasting and dynamic vulnerability cannot meet the requirements of military wireless network such as security, reliability and speed. As a result, how to keep the network flow in case of disruption of attack is a serious problem. We first summarize the current state of the art in the jamming attack in wireless networks from two aspects, i.e., attack and defense. In the attack aspect, we describe several attack models, analyze their capacity and influence. Our major insight is to abandon the assumption that "attacker is omnipotent". In the defense aspect, we describe both the passive and active defense models. The details of three passive defense models are shown. We find that, it is challenging to maintain interactive information flow along with active jamming attack and the related research work is rare.As any attacker in the battlefield must take into account the risk of being discovered and destroyed, in addition to maximizing the interference effect, they must consider minimizing the detection probability. As a result, jamming attack cannot cover the whole time, i.e., the fact that "the attacker is omnipotent" does not exist. So we can assume that, even with the jamming attack, there is a large number of time slots can be used for communication. The rateless communication technique is suitable in such situation. B-asically, by adaptively change the packet length, we can guarantee high transmission efficiency or better robustness. To be practice, We have put forward an ideal rate coding correction model And EEP coding based on principles of efficiency and equity. We also design the encoder and decoder of LT code(a representative rateless coding mechanism) and implement it in a FPGA platform. Based on the platform, we investigate the performance of LT code.
