With the development of society, cars play a more and more important role in people‘s life. High quality lighting ensures the safety of traveling. How to run performance tests of the automotive lighting efficiently and conveniently is a challenging problem for enterprises.The performance test of a car light mainly refers to the control of the light and the detection of its electrical parameters. Since car lights vary in specifications, there are very few generic products on the market. At present, one good control and detection system that realizes the batch test of the car lamp is based on CAN bus communication. But the system is not adaptable to indoor environments. The pattern of system nodes is hard to change.A performance test system based on sub-1G technology for car lights was designed in the paper. The designed system can run tests continuously on dozens of car lights with respect to their life span and reliability. The system is also capable of supplying steady driving signals and saving electrical parameters during the testing process. When a fault is detected, the system will raise the alarm. Besides, this system combines wireless communication with performance test which eliminates the constraints on the terminals of the system and makes it flexible. The main contents of the thesis are as follows. The structure of the system is designed with respect to the overall demands. The system is composed of three parts, namely, host computer, repeater, and slave machine. Content and format of the transmission frame between the host computer and the repeater is designed. The system adopts the wireless chip A7139. Multi-machine communication technology and anti-jamming strategies are discussed with respect to the life span and reliability of a car light. The TDMA technology is used to achieve multi-machine communication and the Frequency hopping technology is used to realize anti-interference. The system uses VC6.0 to write the software for the host computer, functions of the software include data transmission, data saving, etc. The debugging condition of the system is given and the reliability of the system is analyzed.The system has been put to use in an enterprise, and it turns out reliable.
