Steel base plays an indispensable role in industrial refrigeration unit, because it can ensure the unit's safe lifting and support the unit's internal structure. Unreasonable design of steel base will cause lots of problems when the units transport to the customer site: such as the difficulties in leveling the unit and compressor-motor secondary centered, the unit's own pipeline residual stress and so on, so safe and rational design of steel base is essential.The design and research of Steel base is proceeding with a concrete project. First get a simplified mechanical model based on rational analysis and simplify of the steel base withstand the load. Then using mechanical knowledge to make an analysis of Strength?stiffness and stability with the steel base under load, and then make a suitable selection from this hot-rolled steel which is the best cost-effective by making comparison with commonly used hot-rolled steels. After the completion of main-beam design selection, using software Inventor modeling, and then make strength?stiffness and stability analysis by using finite element analysis software ANSYS, by doing this can give a second check of the theoretical calculation and identify local danger point, this can improve the design. After Complete design of the main part of the steel base, then make a design and research with the important parts in steel base, such as lifting lug and longmen frame: To design a suitable lifting lug by analysis and conquer the failure modes of working lifting lug, also has a research with simplified design of lifting lug; Making an analysis of strength?stiffness and stability with the horizontal and vertical beams of longmen frame, so that can design a stable and reliable longmen frame. After the structural design of the base, make an analysis of the vibration isolation principle, so that to select the appropriate damping cushion for the unit. Then make a modal analysis of the steel base installed the cushion and make an optimization.
