As an energy conversion machinery, Turbine is a steam-powered rotating machinery, transforms steaming heat into energy. It's the most widely used prime mover by thermal power station. The requires of processing involving complex shaped surfaces,difficult to machine materials, high forming accuracy and high surface integrity, etc., is an important issue in the field of cutting.On the basis of the relevant processing technology and cutting mechanism of nickel alloys home and abroad, this paper studies the process of the rotor end face of the rotor material 30Cr2Ni4 MoV.First, compared with different cooling lubrication, including dry cutting, common cooling system, composite spray cooling method and cold wind method. this paper talks about the processing quality of the super alloy of 30Cr2Ni4 MoV.By analyzed the tool wear, cutting temperature and the roughness of the machined surface, it proposed the best way is composite cooling spray.Second, with the comparison of tool wear, surface roughness under different cutting parameters, including spindle speed, depth of cut and feed rate of spindle, the optimal processing parameter is determined.Then, the machining process of the flutter is tested. At the same time the data is collected from tool point, spindle and tailstock.Tool point, as the primary vibrating object, is decided. With the help of the data, some improvements are suggested.Finally, the rotor balancing hole and groove optimization processing research was conduct. key aspects of the optimization processing method for the rotor balancing hole and groove was proposed based on the theoretical analysis and preliminary experimental. Through tool improvement, process optimization and process parameter adjustment, high machining precision, reliable tool life, high efficiency was achieved with cost reducing.
