Mount Wudang, Taoist holy land, is located in Mount Wudang tourist economic special zone of Shiyan city, Hubei province. It is also called Taihe Mountain, Xieluo Mountain, Canshang Mountain and Xianshi mountain, which was named "TaiYue", "XuanYue", "yue" in ancient. It is a Taoist mountain that was firstly built with government power in the history of China. Mount Wudang is a huge cultural phenomenon for its history of ancient building group has long-standing, featuring religion and imperial power.Academic researches on Mount Wudang are mostly from the aspects of its cultural theory, its history and its character to analyze. In addition, the study regarding Wudang space as the main body is mostly focused on qualitative research. This article starting from the Emperor Ming Chengzu who gave orders to build Mount Wudang so as to analyze its historical background and also be compared with that of Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasty.Under the premise of reappearing the space of Mount Wudang, through the analysis of mapping datas to study isomorphism phenomenon between the pure wushu myth and imperial power qualitatively and quantificationally. What's more, through studying the documents and historical materials to discuss its real purpose to build Mount Wudang as well as the possibility of its completion. Then, comparing with the space building in the period of Emperor Ming Shizong, we analyze the influence of imperial power and myth on the space of Mount Wudang. Finally, combined with the current position to Mount Wudang to analyze its isomorphism significance in space between imperial power and myth. There are six chapters which is divided into four parts: the first part is introduction that is the research background and the foundation, which is on the premise of the current research status and achievements of Mount Wudang and puts forward the research pure wushu myth and imperial power in Mount Wudang space significance of isomorphism, and also puts forward feasible research methods and framework structure. The second part includes chapter one, two and three which is in the background of Ming Chengzu period to study Mount Wudang space building and the isomorphism phenomenon of myth and imperial power as well as its reason in order to reveal the hidden purpose of Ming Chengzu that built Mount Wudang, that is, the pure wushu and the development of imperial power is the key historical elements. The third part is chapter 5, through itsrebuilt background and space research in the period of Emperor Ming Shizong to compare with the difference of space building in the period of Ming Chengzu to analyze the influence of myth and the imperial power of Ming dynasty on mount Wudang space. The fourth part is chapter six, combining the present space protection of mount Wudang to discuss the space significance from myth and imperial power.
