The Research On The Integrated Design Of Scientific Popularization Exhibits And Exhibition Space Based On The Environment-related Behavior Theory

Science and Technology Museum is the public place where can enjoy scientific education and activities. Popular science education is the purpose, the sensory emotion of the visitor and interest in scientific exploration are motivated by scientific popularization exhibits with diversification of revealable space form. They are utilized to guide the visitors acquire knowledge and realize the self-value in the Science and Technology Museum systematically. This topic is mainly studied how to take advantage of the demonstrate environment to satisfy the behavioral requirements and psychological needs of the visitors. So that the visitors will get a double satisfaction from both physical and psychological.This study is based on the theory of environment-related behavior. Firstly, the background and significance, as well as the main research and methods of research are described. Secondly, the concepts and theories related to the environment-related behavior are introduced, the significance of integrated design of scientific popularization exhibits and exhibition space are expounded. A investigation of psychology and behavior is conducted at Shanghai Science and Technology Museum. On basis of the above research,the visitors' behavior and evaluation are analysed, and the behavior characteristics and environmental psychological needs of the visitors while visiting the Science and Technology Museum are summarized. What's more, interface form and place spirit of the scientific popularization exhibits and exhibition space are discussed in the perspective of environment-related behavior. And the integrate design method based on environment-related behavior is achieved. Finally, the design method mentioned above is put into practice in the project of Liupanshui Science and Technology Museum.
