This paper researches the composite bonding repair method of the cracked aluminum alloy plate. The model should be established in order to discuss the influence factors. In the discussion, assuming that the cracked aluminum alloy plate only suffers a single direction tensile load, the other forms of load are ignored. The finite element models under different repair methods have been established with the finite element modeling method. In previous studies, people used to simulate the2 D or 3D model and have used the spring model to simulate the adhesive bonding repair. Here, the cohesive element is used for the simulation. The cohesive element in composite bonding repair model has been verified. The models of the single-sided riveting repair, single-sided composite bonding repair, double-sided composite bonding repair have been established through the Python language. The model can be changed. For the different variables under the same model, parameterized modeling method can save a lot of time. The riveting repair method, single-sided and double-sided composite bonding repair method are compared. The stress and stress intensity factor under the different repair methods are studied. It is proved that the effect of double-sided composite bonding repair is better than single-sided composite bonding repair. The effect of the bonding repair is proved better than riveting repair. The patch size and the thickness of the adhesive have been changed to study the repair effect of the change of the different factors. It has been proved that the stress intensity factor decreased with the increase of length, width and thickness of the patch and increased with the increase of the thickness of adhesive.
